The CL is set on a working farm and ticks all our boxes, easy to find, easy access, spacious field, friendly owner, great price, and lots to do in the area.  Be prepared to level your van though as some pitches are a little uneven. Water feed to each pitch. We arrived during a heatwave of 30 degrees. Life doesn’t get any better long may it last.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have been coming to Coates for many years. It is a great, simple getaway. If you want space, peace, country farm living, simple but effective facilities, great views and walks in stunning Shropshire countryside, with a couple of nice pubs close by.... a friendly owner and amazing fresh eggs via Albert, then this is the place. But.... perhaps don't tell everyone... as we love it and don't want it fully booked!!
